Zeus is the king of the Olympian gods and the supreme ruler of Mount Olympus. He is the god of the sky, thunder, lightning, law, order, and justice. As the youngest son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea, Zeus overthrew his father and led the gods to victory in the Titanomachy.

Mythology
Zeus was the youngest son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea. Cronus, fearing a prophecy that one of his children would overthrow him, swallowed each of his children at birth. Rhea, unwilling to lose another child, tricked Cronus by giving him a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes instead of Zeus. She hid Zeus on the island of Crete, where he was raised by nymphs and the goat Amalthea. When Zeus grew up, he forced Cronus to disgorge his siblings and led them in a ten-year war against the Titans, known as the Titanomachy. After their victory, Zeus and his brothers divided the universe between them: Zeus took the sky, Poseidon the sea, and Hades the underworld.
